Our flagship beer! Level Up is an American Red Ale which lays six different malts against Centennial, Citra and Simcoe hops to create a beer that's balanced whilst being full of flavour and aroma. Bright red in colour, this malty and hoppy wonder will draw you in and hug you like a blanket on a cold evening.
Tweak of the Thumb, 51…BINGO!!!!
Andy travelled down to Bluntrock to brew this Hazy Pale as part of their Bingo Series. Full to the brim with Cascade, Centennial, Mosaic, Columbus and Simcoe for layers of fresh pineapple, ripe mango and orange zest. This will be the perfect choice for sunny garden cans!
This beer is the result of scaling up an award winning home brewing recipe. Dan Bodington won our annual competition, run by Reading Amateur Brewers on behalf of Burghfield Santas, to find a house beer for their annual charity festival. Dan's recipe uses a clean malt bill with six different hops to deliver a beer that's nicely bitter with a new world citrussy hop profile.
Shadow of the Beast is an Elusive classic! It was one of our first ever brews but we haven't brewed it for quite a while. Time to put that right! This Black IPA uses roasted wheat malt to give it a dark appearance and moderately roasty malt profile. We then add Citra and Mosaic hops across six additions to layer in a lovely citrus-forward hop profile. The malts play really nicely with the hops in this one!
With Lollypop we used Hopsteiner Solero Salvo in the whirlpool with lots and lots of orange zest. We then dry hopped the beer with some lovely orangey Amarillo hops to layer in more orangeyness. Did we mention orange? No? Well, orange!
Our third collab with Tap Social Movement and the first time they've ever brewed an Export India Porter! We had loads of fun experimenting with hop oils in this hoppy, fruity dark beer! Part of their Change is Brewing collab series for the 5th year of the festival.
First in a new series of single hopped American Pale Ales! Final Boss Simcoe has been hopped with four different Simcoe products. We used whole cone in the kettle, DynaBoost in the whirlpool, Cryo as a dry hop then liquid HyperBoost during cold conditioning. A real showcase of this wonderfully piney hop!
We hopped and dry hopped this beer with delicious Citra hops to give notes of mango and peach. We didn't stop there, though! We added mango puree and fermented the beer with a yeast strain called Mango Madness before adding some pure mango extract just to make sure there was enough mango!
We brewed this beer as a reprise to our recent collaboration Polaris. This New England-style IPA uses the same hops as the original beer but aims for a lower overall bitterness and a softer body. Expect plenty of pine sap from the Simcoe before the tropical and gooseberry notes of Nelson Sauvin and Krush step into the fold.
10th Birthday Series No.3! We’ve teamed up with some of our industry pals to brew a series of birthday collab beers - each one with a legendary brewery alongside an amazing pub, bar or bottleshop that has supported us since we opened 10 years ago!
For the third beer in this series, we asked two legends of the game to collaborate with us. The Nag's Head in Reading has been one of our best customers since 2016 and you can almost always find an Elusive beer on the bar! Our great pals at North Riding also feature often and as they brew such brilliant Session Pales, it just had to be! Krush, Amarillo and Simcoe feature here.
10th Birthday Series No.2! We’ve teamed up with some of our industry pals to brew a series of birthday collab beers - each one with a legendary brewery alongside an amazing pub, bar or bottleshop that has supported us since we opened 10 years ago!
Bookshop Alehouse was one of our very first customers! Like Andy, Jon is a Farnborough FC fan and was drawn to Cherrywood Road, the beer we launched with (named after the Yellow's ground). Fast forward 10 years and we teamed up with Jon and the wonderful team from Dark Revolution to brew this NE-style Pale. It's loaded with Citra and Dolcita hops!
We got our hands on some fresh off the boat 2026 crop Motueka for this brew and didn't hold back. We paired it with the wonderful Nectaron to bring combined notes of fresh lime zest and nectarine with added overripe mango. Urban Haze is a crushable beer with a gentle bitterness.
Former England Captain and Leicester Rugby Player Lewis Moody began playing rugby at Bracknell Rugby Club. Following his MND diagnosis, BRFC and Elusive Brewing are supporting his fundraising efforts to find a cure with a donation from every can of Moody Tiger sold.
This bright and bitter West Coast-style Pale Ale showcases wonderful hops in Mosaic and Amarillo. We used cryo pellets to amp up the aroma and pack the flavour in. Expect notes of blueberry and stone fruits with a big surge of orange citrus.
We're embracing a foggy haze with this juicy Pale Ale. We used Citra Dynaboost in the whirlpool before dry hopping with some vibrant Freestyle Nelson Sauvin and YCH Strata Cryo. Expect a juicy top note with some underlying herbal dankness in this smooth and aromatic Pale Ale.
Oregon Trail is our flagship beer and best seller. A classic West Coast IPA brewed at our Finchampstead brewery in Berkshire, it took the top spot at the World Beer Awards 2021 for UK's Best American IPA and most recently won CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain IPA category in 2025. We keep it on constantly — in cask, KeyKeg and can — because once you've had it, you tend to come back for more.
We built Oregon Trail around three workhorse American hops: Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus. Together they deliver the piney, resinous, citrus-forward character that defines the West Coast style. We went big on bitterness too, with a firm malt backbone to keep things balanced rather than harsh. It pours crystal clear, pale amber, with a clean dry finish that makes the next sip feel inevitable.
If you've ever wondered what a proper West Coast IPA tastes like — before the hazy craze softened everything up — this is it.
