International Women's Day Collaboration Home Brew

Home brewing has always been key to what we do at Elusive and as we grow we want to make sure that we support and promote home brewing as much as we can. That’s why, on International Women’s Day, we’re teaming up with our friends from The Malt Miller, our lovely neighbours Siren Craft Brew and some awesome female home brewers for a very special collaboration.

On Tuesday March 8th we’ll be brewing two versions of a brand new beer, Multiplayer, one on our main kit and one on our Grainfather G70. Multiplayer is an Extra Special Bitter, hopped with Northern Brewer (inspired by Siren’s very own self proclaimed Northern brewer Hayley) Mandarina and Centennial and we would love for as many home brewers as possible to brew along with us and celebrate the awesome women that make up the beer and brewing community, at all levels.

How can you get involved?

The Malt Miller team have put together two all grain kits for Multiplayer, one to make 23L of beer and one to make 50L. Each kit includes everything you need, already measured out, along with a recipe for you to follow. If you’d like to brew along with us we’ll be broadcasting each step on Instagram stories (make sure you’re following @themaltmiller) and saving each step so you can go back to it if you’re brewing on a different day. If you’re not ready to brew quite yet, don’t worry, our social media channels will be open on our brew day for you to ask as many questions as you’d like.

Want to try the beer?

Multiplayer will officially launch at The Castle Tap Reading on Thursday 31st March. We’ll have our main kit brew pouring on keg and our Grainfather version on cask so you can try them both. If you’ve brewed along we’d love you to bring your version of Multiplayer with you to be tasted. If you’re yet to dip your toes in the home brewing water, the team from The Malt Miller will be on hand to offer help and advice along with brewing kits to take home with you.

We can’t wait to brew along with you to celebrate International Women’s Day and show once and for all that home brewing is for everyone.
